Northern American – Modern Phenomena

L.A.’s finest ‘Chill Rock’ band taster their debut album with this hazy, chime filled track that feels like the soundtrack to a dream you don’t want to wake up from. It’s a simple track littered with beautiful noise and melody, with almost an ‘Urban Hyms’ feel, a heavenly sound from the band based in the ‘City of Angels’.

Ellenberg – Cities Between Us

We’re expecting pretty good weather here in the U.K. over the next week, and this is the perfect track to get you in the mood. An 80’s feel drenched in EDM sounds Means this track by electric maestro Ellenberg is pop perfection. It feels like summer already!

Monster Jaw – Love

The first single from the bands self-produced EP, ‘Love’ is a tearing rock tune with showgaze vibes that, in parts, mirrors acts like ‘My Bloody Valentine’ but still illuminates the grit and power of hard-hitting rock. It’s a slick, cool effort from the Leeds rockers, with much more to come.

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes – Fangs

After leaving Gallows and his brief time show casing Pure Love, Frank returned to his first love as a tattoo artist, but the lure of Rock & Roll seems too much as he’s back again fronting The Rattlesnakes. Fangs is a guitar heavy power house of a tune that is the perfect bed for Frank Carters howl’s that we’ve missed so much. There’s no doubt there’s similarities to this and Gallows early work but it’s a track with a mind of it’s own.

Best Friends – If You Think Too Much Your Brain Will Fall Out

About to kick off on tour with Nai Harvest, Sheffield’s ‘Best Friends’ unleash this fast paced garage punk work, with a drilling riff, a mesmerizing vocal hook and a vibe that makes you want to take on the world.
