Eskimeaux – I Admit I’m Scared

It tiptoes into your ears and then shoots into the sky after a subtle build up before carefully landing with grace. A beautiful work that spans and evokes emotion. The magnificently hypnotic vocal is only made more encapsulating by heart healing lyrics.

Richard Lomax – Hôtel X

Staring off like something out of Pulps ‘This Is Hardcore’ it’s a tune layered with beautiful guitar riffs and enticing lyrics from the Mancunian artists album ‘Down There For Dancing’. Just one excerpt from a great album but a perfect way to set the tone with a racing dynamic showcasing some of the best new Indie rock around.

The Maccabees – Marks to Prove

One of Britain’s most under sold bands is back with an incredible track that surfs through tempo and noise. It’s every thing we’ve come to expect from The Maccabees with a little more Garage rock in for good measure. An absolute guitar gem dictated by Orlando Weeks vocals and an exciting insight into the up coming album.

Worst Party Ever- Kicking (Myself In The Face)

Taken from their EP released at the end of February, which is frankly one best things we’ve heard this year, ‘Kicking’ is an energetic example of just what the underground American scene is capable of right now. This songs tinny guitars and awesome lyrics bring to mind bands Modern Baseball and Los Campesinos!. WPE are Florida based and creating exciting honest music that’ll leave you needing more.

Tame Impala – Cause I’m A Man

The Australian Psych-Rock heroes latest effort is a slow synth driven ballad that could easily pass as a 10cc B-side, which really isn’t a bad thing. It’s might be a step away from what people are expecting from the new album, but it works perfectly.
